and also the one hour BBC documentry ''The Genius Of Omar Khayyam'' (this documentry was aired first in 2009 (49 min.)and than later on they did some editing and aired it again in 2010 (the 2010 version is 60 min.
i could not find the 2010 persian version so i used the 2009 persian version and the 2010 english version, they are almost the same exept for the audio persion and english and the 10 min. extra in english 2010 version.
its a nice combination. you can watch the movie and then the documentry to undrestand omar khayyam better or whatch the documentery that will get you ready and prepared to watch the movie.

i have a lots of hard to find movies and documentry but i have a limited drive space i only could keep about 4 dvd (around 20gig) in my drive so please when you get them help me by seeding so i can delete them and put some new one otherwise i am forced to keep and seed only 4 dvd and wont be able to put anything new.
its your choice, you seed and you get new things or you dont seed and i will seed the same old dvds over and over

Plot Synopsis:
Mohsen Makhmalbaf's Gabbeh  is just the second Iranian film ever widely distributed in the U.S. (Jafar Panahi's The White Balloon was the first). A gabbeh is an Iranian carpet produced by the nomadic Ghashghai tribe of southern Iran, comparable to the folk art of American quilts; in the film's opening scenes, an elderly husband and wife travel to a nearby stream to wash their gabbeh, discussing the meaning behind the figures sewn upon it. The rug depicts a woman in blue and a man in red, together on a white horse; suddenly, the woman on the tapestry seems to come to life -- her name too is Gabbeh, and the blue dress she wears is identical to the one worn by the old wife. She proceeds to tell her tragic story: it seems that despite her love for a mysterious stranger on horseback who follows her nomadic family wherever they travel, Gabbeh's father refuses to allow her to marry until a series of stipulations have first been met.
